Grants to help strengthen community-led organisations
Funding The fund will provide a mix of loans, grants and mentoring support for community organisations in England. Three types of investment packages are available. A development package consists of bespoke business support based on leadership grants of £2,000 for staff development. A feasibility package offers further business support and grants up to £20,000 towards a growth development plan. Grants of up to £75,000 are available for larger organisations. An investment package offers loans between £50,000 and £2m for organisations ready to expand their role in the community.
Funder A £70m investment fund set up by the government to "build more cohesive, empowered and active communities". It is being delivered by Futurebuilders England and The Community Alliance.
Aim To strengthen community-led organisations in England.
Who can apply? Not-for-profit organisations that operate for the benefit of a defined neighbourhood.
