HND students from Calderdale College perform Shepherd's Pie Tastes Different Now, a collection of short plays and poetry written by young offenders and young people at risk of committing crime.

The performance, at the Actor's Workshop Theatre in Halifax, was the result of a project run by Calderdale Youth Offending Team. The play explored themes including bullying and restorative justice. Kerry Taylor, events administrator at Calderdale Youth Offending Team, said: "The project helped the young people see that their work is valued and that there is more to them than being an offender."
