Jenny Keegan, who works with young offenders in Plymouth, has written Knives and Broken Lives as part of her new album. The song charts the story of a young man involved with crime who pulls out a knife during a fight and ends up being fatally stabbed.

"The song provokes thought around the impact on his family and usually starts a good conversation among staff and young people," said Keegan. The songs are available from Keegan's Myspace page.
