John Friel, an education barrister, will tell parents how they can get SEN statements for their children at an event next month.   Psychologists and specialist lawyers will also be on hand on the day to give parents support.   The event is the brainchild of Dr. Neville Brown, principal of Maple Hayes School in Lichfield, Staffordshire, who has experience of defending parents at SEN tribunals.   Brown claims local authorities go out of their way to stop children getting educational support....
