Private provider wins IAG contract
Monday, 01 February 2010
The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham has awarded the contract to run information, advice and guidance (IAG) services in the area to private provider Prospects Services.
Prospects took over the contract on 18 January and will provide services for at least the next two years. It already runs IAG services in 10 other London boroughs. The service will help young people to make career decisions, as well as provide advice on wider issues.
Councillor Rocky Gill, cabinet member for education and children's wellbeing, said: "We are looking forward to working with Prospects to deliver the best support and first-class advice for young people."
