There is an increasing recognition of the value of programmes that bring younger and older people together for their mutual benefit, but what is the relevance and impact of such approaches to mentoring and befriending?
This course will help you to:
- Explain what is meant by intergenerational
- Look at the different models of intergenerational mentoring and befriending
- Assess which model would be appropriate to meet your aims and priorities
- Explain the benefits and outcomes for all participants
- Use good practice guidelines to establish intergenerational mentoring or befriending
