How do you prepare your volunteers for their mentoring role? What are the essential skills and knowledge required of a mentor?
This course will help you to:
- Understand the implications of learning styles for training delivery
- Identify the training needed to prepare mentors for their roles
- Determine what activities are appropriate for your own scheme
- Adapt the activities and resources to suit your own volunteer mentors
- Evaluate your training programme
