Children and Young People Now in partnership with the University of the First Age invite you to join them for the national Youth Leadership UFA conference, which features practical and interactive workshops delivered by young people and expert speakers.
Involving young people in the planning and delivery of the conference, we will explore the latest innovative case studies from schools and organisations across the country where young people are leading learning, showcasing practical examples, progressing their leadership skills and making a positive contribution.
Interactive and practical workshops led by young people and expert speakers will focus on the following examples:
- Leading In Student Councils
- Leadership In County Councils
- Being Given Budgets To Set Up Their Own Projects
- Leading Learning In Communities
- Volunteering To Lead
- Leading In An Informal Setting
- Peer Tutoring In Summer Schools
- Peer Tutoring In Primary Schools To Support Transition To Secondary
Pick and choose the workshops to address your knowledge gaps and tailor make your day to ensure you take away tips and tools to use in your setting as soon as possible to get young people involved in supporting and leading learning.
"100% of the delegates at the last UFA event rated it as "excellent" or "very good".
