Social Care News: Social care stats - Halton

12.7% of looked-after children with three or more placements in 2004/05 (13 per cent in England)

- 62% of looked-after children achieved at least one grade A*-G GCSE inthe year to 30 September 2005 (60.2 per cent in England)

- 81.4% of children and young people communicated their views at theirlatest statutory review (81 per cent in England)

- 92% of looked-after children were up-to-date with their immunisationsin the year to 30 September 2005 (76 per cent in England)

In December 2005 the Commission for Social Care Inspection said HaltonCouncil was serving most children well and rated its capacity to improvechildren's social services as promising.
