NCB's ChildData service, which acts as an invaluable resource for a variety of professionals working in the child sector, is now even more user-friendly.

Enhanced features mean that ChildData users are now able to access information and generate user statistics more easily.

The online resource brings together four databases on issues affecting children, giving users access to relevant press coverage, details of conferences and events, information on childcare organisations and a catalogue of over 66,000 records of books, reports and journal articles.

"ChildData is a key resource in locating information," said Catriona McGough, electronic information services manager, Essex County Council.
