The officers of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Children, for which NCB holds the secretariat, have been re-elected.
The group includes representatives from both houses and all three mainpolitical parties.
The group is chaired by Baroness Massey of Darwen (Labour), and vicechairs are Baroness David (Labour), Baroness Walmsley (Lib Dem), AnnetteBrook MP (Lib Dem) and Tim Loughton MP (Conservative).
The secretary is Baroness Howarth of Breckland and treasurer is the Earlof Listowel, both of whom are crossbenchers.
This year the group will concentrate on the implementation of theChildren Act 2004.
NCB will bring in children's trust pilots and the children'scommissioner for England to engage parliamentarians in theimplementation process.
