Anti-bullying campaigners have forced a web site to remove a video of two schoolgirls having a vicious playground fight.
The mobile phone video, filmed at Llanishen High School in Cardiff, shows one girl ending up with blood on her face. The charity Kidscapecalled for the video to be taken off the YouTube web site. The siteagreed, saying the footage violated its terms of use. But hundreds ofsimilar videos remain on the site.
John Carr, new technology adviser to children's charity NCH, saidchildren were increasingly engaging in violent behaviour so they couldfilm it on their mobiles. He said: "There was a case in London where ayoung lad was killed and the whole thing was recorded on a mobile phone. The judge was clear that it was partly because they wanted to film whatthey were doing that caused the attack in the first place."
