Sportsmatch is a Government-funded scheme that makes awards to organisations, including schools, running projects to increase participation in sports at a community level. It does this by match-funding commercial sponsorship.

Usually the minimum amount of sponsorship it will match is 1,000,but it is 500 if you are a school. The maximum is 50,000.Previous award winners include Devizes School in Wiltshire, which gained10,000 from Sportsmatch to run sports camps during the summerholidays.
