Funding brief: Scottish schools to receives funding
Schools in Scotland will receive an extra 60m from the Scottish Executive as part of a programme of school improvements. Schools will receive 40m for resources ranging from musical instruments to interactive whiteboards. Another 20m is for building improvements, particularly pupil toilets and playgrounds.
