Lib Dem Hughes backs campaign
Tuesday, 05 October 2010
The deputy leader of the Liberal Democrats has backed CYP Now's For Youth's Sake campaign.
Simon Hughes joins a list of senior politicians who have pledged their support, including former children's secretary Ed Balls and the leader of the Green Party, Caroline Lucas.
More than 800 people have now signed the pledge, which calls for the government to set out its vision for young people, for employers to invest in the youth workforce and for young people to be involved in decisions on both a local and national level about the services they use.
