Eyeconomy, the digital media agency, is planning and buying an online campaign to promote Fred Olsen Cruise Liners to the over 50s.
Eyeconomy was handed the brief by its client - the creative agency HDM - which, in turn, is retained by the cruise line operator.
Samantha Thompson, senior planner/buyer at Eyeconomy, has begun choosing websites for the company, which caters for so-called 'silver surfers'.
Thompson plans to run key-word campaigns on the sites of major search engines, such as Yahoo! or Freeserve. This means a Fred Olsen banner will pop up when a user enters a word such as 'travel'.
Thompson will also place buttons or banners on niche sites, such as mature persons' website Vavo.com and the sites produced by Reader's Digest and Waitrose.
Eyeconomy has also bought a spot on Sky's Open platform. A small clickable banner will appear for one month on the travel section.
