Telewest Communications, the UK’s largest quoted cable group, has
recruited Anna Miller as its head of investor relations.
Reporting to senior vice president of finance Simeon Galpert, Miller -
who takes the title of vice president, investor relations - leads
Telewest’s communications with corporate and private shareholders. She
is supported by a staff of two, although the department will probably be
expanded next year.
A former fund manager at Dunedin Fund Managers in Edinburgh, Miller
previously worked for Dresdner Kleinwort Benson. There she was
responsible for telecommunications stocks in the institutional
specialist sales department and worked on Telewest’s flotation in
November 1994. At Telewest she replaces Doug Regan who quit the job in
February to move to the US.
