
Dudley Youth Offending Service is a partnership organisation, which aims to develop safer communities and prevent youth offending. The service works with young people between the ages of 10 and 17, and primarily with young offenders and the victims of youth crime.
Dudley Youth Offending Service is extensive, offering the following services:
- Work with young people on police final warnings
- Bail support and supervision
- Preparation of court reports
- Appropriate adults for interviews of young people conducted under PACE (Police And Criminal Evidence Act)
- Supervision of young people subject to community sentences
- Supervision of young people given custodial sentences
- Work with victims of youth crime
- Programmes for the parents of young people who are offending and work to prevent anti-social behaviour in partnership with other organisations.

voluntary organisations.
Training and career development
All staff undergo regular personal development interviews and annual appraisals are conducted in order to identify individual training needs for every member of staff in the youth offending service.

Salary and benefits
