Youth work activities: Relationships Games and exercises that aim to create opportunities for young people to reflect on positive relationships and discuss ways of communicating what they want, as well as offering accurate information on contraception. Includes "relationship cards" and "acceptable/ unacceptable" sheet.

Videos

TheSite.org's sex and relationship videos Includes "GUM clinic virtual tour" and "How to accept yourself as gay" as well as "How to undo her bra"

Love and sex videos on Truetube Videos designed to provoke debate and inspire young people to create and upload their own films. Topics include sex and the law, coming out as gay, vox pops on sex and love, and a young man on why he has chosen to abstain from sex.

Activities

Youth work activities from Need 2 Know Includes activities around breast awareness and testicular awareness. No direct link to the activities, so click on "I'm a youth worker" and then "body awareness and sexual health".

These sex and relationships education activities were designed for use in Calderdale schools but, say the developers, can be used by youth workers as well. There are a number of PDFs each relating to a school year.

Teen Life Check is an NHS resource - a lifestyle questionnaire is followed by suggestions of goals that can be set, including in sexual health, as well as videos.

Packs

The Baby Borrowers Youth Work Pack The BBC followed up its Baby Borrowers series by producing free packs for teachers and youth workers. The youth workers' pack includes four 20-minute DVDs, which present an overview of the experiment, look at the relationships between the couples and parenting, and focus on one couple, Carl and Kayleigh.
