The Ozbox project began five years ago after police in Derbyshire wanted to give young people a diversion away from crime. Initially the project only ran in the Chesterfield area of the county. It involved young people who were at risk of antisocial behaviour taking part in boxing. The boxing is non-contact and the young people practise on punchbags, instead of sparring. The police hold boxing nights three times a week, where young people aged 11 to 25 can take part...
