Football academy offers free training to parents

A football academy for young children that has proved popular with nurseries in Wigan, Manchester and Liverpool is offering free training to parents in sports and health activities so they can be positive role models. Coaches from the Proscore Academy, set up by Wigan football coach Chris Parr (news, 19 June), also talk to children about health-related topics each week.
