The National Day Nurseries Association, which already has 22 networks in England and Wales, has established its first Scottish network in Dumfries and Galloway. The new network, which will include representatives from 14 nurseries in the area, will hold meetings to discuss good practice and act as a forum through which nurseries can communicate with the local authority.
