What it is: The Scottish government is using money seized from criminals to give to communities across Scotland. The aim is to use the money to help local youth organisations provide free local activities, such as sports tournaments, shows, gigs and dance events.
It was launched in January 2008 and is the nation's flagship programme for young people's activities. The main objective is to provide a wide range of positive activities for young people between the ages of 10 and 19. Round two of applications is now open and will close on 26 September.
