Bolton's youth opportunity and youth capital funds are distributed by the Cash Panel. For 2008, the panel of young people has been given £281,000 for the youth opportunity fund (YOF) and £161,000 for the youth capital fund (YCF). Bolton is also one of the 50 authorities each receiving £452,000 through YCF Plus, the Youth Taskforce programme announced in March that is providing additional funds to disadvantaged areas.
