What it is: London Councils, the umbrella organisation representing the capital's local authorities, has launched a fund to tackle the problems raised in the London Child Poverty Commission's review of child deprivation. Currently over half a million of London's children (41 per cent) live in poverty.
How much is on offer: There's a total of £1.6m up for grabs. The money will go to either one or two organisations that provide support services to councils in London. The organisations will be expected to target people living in social housing. Up to £400,000 will be available each year over four years....
