The funding is the latest allocation from the Make it Happen strand of the Young People's Fund. It funds schemes that help young people improve their lives. Projects receiving grants include a surfing club in Conwy and Gwynedd, which got £5,000; RAY Ceredigion, which received £4,999 to investigate play sites; and the Pembrokeshire Federation of Young Farmers Clubs, which got £1,597 to run a trip to Westminster.
