A multi-sports project for young people in Croydon is being launched by social inclusion programme Positive Futures. The Football Foundation is providing £208,000 for the scheme and Nike has committed to providing basketball equipment. The programme will target disengaged young people between the ages of 13 and 19, who are not already involved in youth clubs or similar initiatives, through outreach and detached youth work in the Selhurst and South Norwood areas of the London borough.
