The Big Lottery Fund last week allocated more than £1.2m to youth projects in south Wales. The funding, from the Reaching Out strand of the Young People’s Fund, will go to a range of projects including those working with disabled young people and young people from ethnic minorities. The lottery also announced £35,000 of grants through the Make It Happen strand of the Young People’s Fund, which is aimed at community groups.
