The Royal College of Nursing is to take action to improve the transition for young people into adult health services. Nurses voted overwhelmingly in favour of the move at the organisation's annual conference last week. Delegates highlighted a need for more skills for nurses working with young people with particular requirements, and the need to keep young people safe on adult mental health wards.
