The question of how local authorities will manage the £250m Transformation Fund topped the agenda at last week's annual conference of the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC). With guidance on the fund due next week, chief executive of 4Children, Anne Longfield, stressed the need to use it for local strategies that give the private and voluntary sectors training opportunities.
