(Photograph) - Children from Burdett Coutts after-school club in Westminster presented Cherie Booth QC with giant childcare 'stars' last week to launch the Excellence in Childcare Awards and Kids' Clubs Week from 23 to 27 June. As vice-president of the Kids' Club Network she spent an hour with the children in the grounds of Number 10 Downing Street. An award ceremony for the best childcarers in the UK took place later that day at the Globe Theatre in London (see page 6).
