Views sought on early years jobs

Childminders, playgroup workers, nursery nurses, out-of-school club workers and other early years practitioners will be invited to contribute to a review of the national occupational standards in early years care and education at levels 2, 3 and 4 across the UK. The review, which is being overseen by the National Day Nurseries Association for the Department for Education and Skills, will initially look at the occupations in the early years sector, how they have changed over recent years and how they link to other jobs in related sectors such as playwork.
