CWDC loses its standalone status

The CWDC has reaffirmed its commitment as the
independent voice of the children's workforce, following concerns that a change
in its legal status would compromise its independence. It was set up as a
private company limited by guarantee but will be reclassified as an Executive
Non Departmental Public Body.
