Unspent fund could be lost
Take-up of the Transformation Fund has been low in certain parts of the country, fuelling concerns that unless the money is spent the Fund will not be continued in the 2007 Comprehensive Spending Review. The Daycare Trust said that the Transformation Fund was 'underspent and work was underway to discover the reasons for this' (News, 16 November).
