Education Brief: Paediatrician not guilty

A consultant paediatrician who made unsubstantiated allegations of child abuse against two Newcastle nursery workers has been found not guilty of serious professional misconduct by the General Medical Council. But Dr Camille de Sam Lazaro admitted there were deficiencies and/or inaccuracies in her recording of child protection medical records.
